Isaiah Gyamfi, age 2, is gaining international recognition as a child prodigy who not only can solve mathematical complexities, but also knows how to count in four different languages.

According to Because of Them We Can, Gyamfi’s mother Jazelle Anderson noticed her son’s high level intelligence at the age of five months.

Anderson, who has a background in education, observed her son watching YouTube videos on her phone.

"One day Isaiah was watching a phonic video on my phone on YouTube, he scrolled to the videos at the bottom and clicked on a Japanese numeracy video," She told the Mirror. "He listened to it once and was fixated. He asked to watch it again, then before I knew it, he would recite the numbers back to back."

The South West London mother said her son learned to count up to 40 in the Japanese language in less than 24 hours with no assistance.

As a wife, mother and teacher, Anderson used her work in early childhood studies to create a learning practicum for Gyamfi, as she would for her own students.

When Gyamfi was 4 months old, Anderson made depictions of numbers and words in her living room in order to hone his visual-learning skills.

It wasn’t until Gyamfi was 8 months old that his parents took notice of his phonetic skills, when he demonstrated he could recite letters aloud.

"I was first taken back and thought, did my 8-month-old just call out letters? I remember just laughing nervously, but I was so excited and wanted to hear it again,” she said. “I thought maybe it sounded like he said the numbers and letters, but he actually said something else. But he continued to say it, which confirmed what I thought.”

As Anderson continued to monitor her baby boy’s progress, she expressed the excitement both she and her husband felt.

"I remember telling his dad when he got home from work," she said. "I took Isaiah to the wall where the letter and number stickers were; when he called them out, we both stood there just laughing."

Joining the masses in the digital era, where parents document their kids' moments for the gram, Anderson has now captured her son's learning attainments for others to enjoy.

According to Black Enterprise, Gyamfi's
Instagram shows his ability to speak English, Spanish, French, Italian, Twi, Yoruba and Japanese. In addition to identifying languages, the toddler can also recognize flags.

When it comes to his mathematical skills, Anderson already observed that her son enjoys playing with numbers daily on a whiteboard.

Gyamfi’s preschool teacher also took notice of the toddler’s genius as he helped friends learn numbers.

"I recall one of his nursery teachers telling me that he sat with his friends and helped them learn their numbers,” Anderson said.

“She said his friends weren't so confident, so Isaiah sat with them and would point out the numbers, asking them to repeat what he was saying," the mother and educator said with pride.

Because his parents believe in his gifts and want to nurture them further, the couple plans to take Gyamfi to a child psychologist to assess his skills.

Anderson, who will be celebrating Gyamfi's birthday in January said, “My job is to maintain and support his excitement, love and passion for learning as long as I'm on this earth."
