Luca Traini has been in jail while police investigate multiple attacks in Macerata, Italy involving six Africans. Six Africans were shot in a two-hour rampage within the central Italy area. The 28-year-old is being held on multiple counts of attempted murder with the aggravating circumstance of "racial hatred."

According to CBC, Italian authorities seized Hitler's infamous Nazi propaganda book, Mein Kampf from Traini's home. Other items obtained were a Celtic cross flag and other Nazism publications.

Of course, the book is only the cherry atop a bigoted sundae. Traini is a right-wing extremist who appeared "lucid and determined, aware of what he had done," showing no remorse for the attacks, per officials. Further, Traini had ties with neo-fascist Forza Nuova and CasaPound parties and unsuccessfully ran in a local election for the anti-migrant Northern League political party last year.

Regarding the Macerata attacks, Col. Michele Roberti, noted that "it's likely that he carried out this crazy gesture as a sort of retaliation, a sort of vendetta."

Sigh. Bigots gonna bigot.
