You just knew it was going to be Armond White.

The infamous film critic, now a writer for National Review and Out, has ruined Get Out’s perfect Rotten Tomatoes score.

Lakeith Standfield, star of FX’s Atlanta as well as Get Out, tweeted the following with a poetic succinctness White can only hope he’ll one day be able to match:

White’s review of the film in the conservative-leaning National Review is titled “Return of the Get-Whitey Movie,” and things only get better from there.

He begins by wondering why his fellow critics cheered “when the black protagonist killed an entire family of white folks one by one,” then goes on the call the humor a “trite” protection and defense of “former president Obama,” attacks Peele as “unfunny,” and seems to not have paid very close attention to the film, complaining that Lakeith Stanfield’s character is seen once at the beginning and then “the movie never shows us that character again.”

Alternative facts, Mr. White.

Other cute quotes include, “Peele manipulates the Trayvon Martin myth the same way Obama himself did when he pandered by saying, “Trayvon Martin could have been my son.””

And then … and then … you aren’t going to believe this one on Daniel Kaluuya: “The actor’s dark-skin/bright teeth image inadvertently recalls the old Sambo archetype … Sambo lives matter.”

And if you, Blavity reader, would like a personalized insult from White, he rebukes our generation as being “clueless” and “in dire need of a reality check,” saying that we are detached from the reality of race, ignoring the truth of the matter by comforting ourselves with “the Obama era’s civil rights bromides and social-justice aphorisms.”

In classic White fashion, in taking down a beloved movie, the critic raids old Razzies lists, calling Eddie Murphy’s Norbit and Meet Dave the sort of “personal and ingenious” films Get Out wishes it could be.

Armond White — who is black — was famously kicked out of the New York Film Critics Circle for yelling at Steve McQueen as he was accepting an award, “You’re an embarrassing doorman and garbage man.”

Other beloved films that he has derided include: Wall-E, Toy Story 3 and The Dark Knight. At this point, it seems like White just likes seeing headlines reading, ‘You Won’t Believe The Horrible Review Armond White Gave X.’
