Since being released from prison on April 2, Tekashi 6ix9ine hasn't been shy about making waves in the news.

He released a single that has already racked up more than 100 million views on YouTube and has addressed his conviction as well as his decision to testify against his former friends.

On Tuesday, he made even more news when he tried to donate $200,000 to No Kid Hungry but was rejected by the organization due to his past convictions. In 2015, he pleaded guilty to a felony count of using a child during sexual performance. According to a complaint filed by the 13-year-old victim's mother, 6ix9ine was seen on video grabbing and touching her body.

"During this pandemic I understand we have nurses and frontline Hero’s who risk there life daily to save others. But NEVER forget the children & families who depend on OUR PUBLIC schools for daily meals and nutritions to keep our future leaders growing to their best potential. To every influencer out there REMEMBER if you are blessed GOD gave you that blessing not just for YOU but also TO HELP OTHERS ???????? GOD FIRST," 6ix9ine wrote in a now-deleted Instagram post.

But in a statement to Complex and TMZ, Laura Washburn, No Kid Hungry's director of strategic communications, said the organization would not be accepting the donation.

"We are grateful for Mr. Hernandez’s generous offer to donate to No Kid Hungry but we have informed his representatives that we have declined this donation. As a child-focused campaign, it is our policy to decline funding from donors whose activities do not align with our mission and values," Washburn said.

The rapper responded to the rejection in another deleted Instagram post.

"@nokidhungry rather take food out the mouth of these innocent children I never seen something so cruel," he said.
