We hear the statistic often: 1 in 3 women will be raped or sexually assaulted in her lifetime. What we don’t hear is that trans folks are among the most likely be raped or otherwise sexually assaulted, with some studies reporting nearly 50 percent will be affected. What we don’t hear is that men are raped too. Men can say no too. A shocking 2.78 million men in America are survivors of sexual assault or rape.
