Michelle Carter won her first Olympic medal on Friday night, a well-deserved and historic gold for Team USA. Carter is the first American woman to win a gold medal in shot put. And because her father, NFL defensive lineman Michael Carter, won a medal for shot put in 1984, she’s also half of the first American father-daughter duo to medal at the Olympics. She basically embodies #BlackGirlMagic, and we’re so here for it.
