The e-commerce site eBay has taken action to deny profiteers from making money off of Nipsey Hussle's memorial program.

TMZ reports memorial-goers began to flood eBay with booklets they received at the late rapper's Staples Center commemoration, selling the booklet to the tune of $500 to $1,500 each.

The act is reportedly against the company's policies.

The event, which was ticketed at no cost to all attendees, also offered each ticket holder with a special program that shares intimate photos of the father-of-two throughout his 33 years of life. It also includes personal farewell messages from family and friends, including his longtime girlfriend, Lauren London, friend and fellow musician YG and mentor/friend Jay-Z, among many others.

The memorabilia sold for nearly $500 on Friday before eBay stepped in to prohibit any further sales.

Complex Mag reports a rep from the multi-billion-dollar company confirmed that "any items that attempt to profit from human tragedy or suffering are not allowed to be sold on eBay."

The corporation also assured inquisitors that all remaining transactions for the booklet would be rejected and removed from the site. The company will reportedly contact all sellers with a personal note regarding their violation of site-wide guidelines.

The celebration of life event was held last Thursday and was attended by over 21,000 local fans, friends and family members. Hours after the event, sellers reportedly rushed to the site to sell the collection of memories to devout fans as a collector's item.

The memorial included a powerful message from Nipsey's mother, Angelique Smith, as well as a heartbreakingly inspirational message from London. Other speakers, such as the businessman's brother, Blacc Sam, and friend and mentor Snoop Dogg, gave heartfelt messages, as Blavity reported, which included a letter from former President Barack Obama.
