A group of teens who turned to a McDonald's employee for help after being threatened by a gunman were ordered out of the restaurant, Business Insider reports.

The incident reportedly followed a verbal altercation between a group of Black teens in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, and a man they claim is racist.

One of the teens in the video, Farida Osman, posted clips of the encounter on Twitter.

"We were just trying to order when this man said racist remarks, claimed to be touched (when really he pushed a kid as seen on the video) pulled a gun out on kids and you still kick us out knowing we're in danger?" Osman wrote.

The posted videos show the teens scattering after seeing the gun. As they move toward the interior of the restaurant, the manager appeared and began screaming at them to leave. They protest, arguing a gunman is waiting for them outside.

"I don't give a f**k," the woman yelled at them. "Get out of my store, now."

In a video that appears to have been taken shortly after, another employee told the teens, "If he pulled out a gun, it's for a reason."

Following the video surfacing on Twitter, the owner of the Eden Prairie McDonald's, Paul Ostergaard, promised to look into what happened.

“Nothing is more important than the safety and security of our customers and employees. We take this matter seriously and are working with local law enforcement while we investigate the situation,” Ostergaard said in a statement sent to CBS Minnesota.

The gunman in the video has not yet been identified. Eden Prairie police would like anyone with information to contact them at 952-949-6200.
