Black people are just lit like that! While Bey is out here dropping twins for the culture and Gabrielle Union is snatching edges left and right, everyday people are exhibiting #blackexcellence by incorporating inspiring teaching methods in the classroom, creating life-saving inventions and just being woke and adorable. Our creativity always prevails, as is the case with this NYC teenager who went viral with this bucket banging mashup of hits and classics.

Sadio, who has been blessing NYC commuters with his self-taught solo drum set, was featured on Good Morning America this morning where he spoke about his inspiration. He even performed a live rendition of “My Girl,” by the Temptations before being surprised with a brand new drum set and complimentary lessons. One time for #blackboyjoy in this piece!
