Deprice and Shaprice Hunt are killing the game right now. Not only have they accrued more than $1.3 million in scholarships, between both twins they have 56 acceptance letters, 48 awards and an 100% attendance rate in high school.

Shaprice alone has received 2 full-rides, 35 acceptance letters and has also been recruited to play basketball for 5 different teams.

Deprice, who attends Uplift Community High School on the north-side of Chicago, was given full-ride offer from his top choice Clark Atlanta University. However, he can’t decide between Clark Atlanta and Morehouse, which also offered him an amazing financial aid package.

These twins epitomize black excellence. The graduation rate for the Chicago Public School system is 66.3%. This means that approximately only 6/10 students that attend high school in Chicago, make it to the finish line– graduation. An even lower number of CPS students, just 14% of go on to pursue 4-year degrees after graduating high school.
