Shante Is a Businesswoman and Author

Since 2021, Shante has been Snoop Dogg’s official manager, but her career began long before working with family. Shante is the founder of Boss Lady Entertainment (BLE), a music management company that she’s run over the last 20-plus years. In addition to managing Snoop Dogg, her business has helped to produce both films and television series. Her management company also oversees the Compound, an event space with recording and dance studios that’s been used by Kendrick Lamar, Cardi B and Whiz Khalifa.

She is also the co-founder, alongside her husband, of a headscarf company called The Broadus Collection, which the couple launched following their daughter’s lupus diagnosis and hair loss. Shante filed for divorce from Snoop Dogg in 2004. PEOPLE reported that Snoop Doog admitted he was letting the fame get to his head, which impacted the quality of their relationship. He credits his children with encouraging him to reconcile with their mother and his wife. The music mogul also said in an interview that “the good to my bad is her” and doing what his wife loves most is what’s kept their marriage going.
