Mahershala Ali is a hot commodity in the acting realm right now. After his breakout role in House of Cards, he’s been in The Hunger Games series, he just appeared in the film Kicks, and he will be highly-anticipated shows and films like Luke Cage, Hidden Figures and Moonlight. What a resume!

Laura Harrier is a burgeoning star in her own right. The model and former One Life to Live actress snagged the pivotal role of Liz Allen in next year’s Spider Man: Homecoming, alongside the likes of Zendaya and Donald Glover.

Ali and Harrier appear in a new short-film directed by Carrie Brownstein.

It’s called “The Realest Real,” and it examines how we as a society treat social media and the thinning line between what’s real and what’s not, and the ordinary and the famous. It is a part of KENZO’s Fall-Winter 2016 campaign, and debuted New York Fashion Week. Rowan Blanchard, star of Girl Meets World as well as Orange is the New Black star Natasha Lyonne also appear.
