Snoop Dogg believes the U.S. women’s soccer team is being cheated.

The rapper expressed his support for higher wages for the World Cup-winning team in a video he posted on his Instagram page on Sunday.

“Shout out to the U.S.A. women’s soccer team for their fourth World Cup,” he began, then went on to say: “They only get $90K per player, but the men, if they win it, they get $500K per player.”

Snoop Dogg highlighted the hypocrisy of paying the men’s team more money even though they aren’t bringing home trophies.

“The sorry ass f**king men from the U.S. soccer team. Everyone’s s**t, ain’t ever gonna win s**t, can’t even get out the f**king first round,” the rapper continued.

“Man, pay them ladies, man. Pay them girls what they worth. The women should be getting $500K per athlete. Snoop Dogg says so. Them girls have won four World Cups, and $90K? Man, please.”

Pay equity has been a topic of discussion since the women’s team won their fourth championship on Sunday. Documents obtained by The Guardian show female players can earn a maximum of $260K from winning the World Cup and male players can earn more than $1 million.

A gender discrimination lawsuit filed by the women’s team is entering mediation, according to The Hill. Shredded pages from the lawsuit were used as confetti during Wednesday’s World Cup celebration parade.

On Tuesday, Senator Joe Manchin of West Virginia introduced a bill to withhold funding for the men’s World Cup in 2026 unless the women receive better pay, according to NBC News.

"The clear inequitable pay between the U.S. men’s and women’s soccer teams is unacceptable and I’m glad the U.S. Women’s Soccer Team latest victory is causing public outcry," Manchin said. "They are the best in the world and deserve to be paid accordingly."
