Gabby Matsuoka wore a dress inspired by the jacket the late Michael Jackson wore during his historic Grammy night.

Matsuoka, a self-proclaimed fashion model from Dallas, Texas, shared on her Instagram the finished product of her dream of recreating the infamous blue and gold blazer Jackson wore in 1984.

The teen shared several photos of herself in the dress from different angles, receiving almost 900 likes and 200 comments.

“#MICHAELJACKSON,” Matsuoka said. “this is for the girlz in the balcony.”

Matsuoka hired “The Kiwe Prom,” a popular prom designer from Dallas, to recreate the custom gown for her. The Kiwe Kollection nailed the blazer from sparkle material to the famous 80s shoulder pads. Matsuoka completed the outfit with two gold necklaces, an “M” and a “J.”

The designer shared the photos of her creation on her Instagram account, asking her followers how well the dress came out.

“The Iconic Blazer [sic] Micheal Jackson wore to the Grammy,” the designer said. “#MichaelJackson Inspired Prom Dress. My Prom Doll @matsukill is a huge fan How did we do?”

The teenager shared photos on her Instagram of the day of her commencement ceremony. Matsuoka can be seen in her cap and gown with a sewn that reads, “class of 2022.”

In one photo, the graduate is holding her diploma with many comments congratulating her on finishing high school.
