Terrence Howard has joins William H. Macy, Peter DinklageNina Arianda and Brazilian star Wagner Moura, in Homeland writer, Henry Bromell's Fellini Black and White.

Produced by Andrew Lazar, the story for Fellini Black and White takes place during Fellini and his wife Giulietta Masina’s 1958 trip to Los Angeles for the Academy Awards, where Nights of Cabiria was nominated for Best Foreign Language Film (and won) – only to disappear for two days before making it to the ceremony.

It is also around this time that Fellini discovered the jazz and surf scenes of the era – which is where Terence Howard comes in. Howard will reportedly play a jazz musician who introduces Fellini to the music and scene. I wonder who exatly that could be… especially if it was someone prominent.

All you Fellini historians, enlighten us (my research returned nothing).

Shooting is scheduled to begin early next year, with Wagner Moura playing the title character, and Arianda as Masina.

As an aside, I should remind you all that one of the many projects on director Lee Daniels' upcoming slate is a remake of Fellini's Nights of Cabiria.
