Lena Dunham just can't seem to keep her foot out of her mouth. With her periodic troublesome outburst that fly in the face of the very principals she claims to represent, the Girls creator and star has become the inadvertent poster child for problematic white feminism. After being called out for projecting her white female privilege on an unsuspecting Odell Beckham over a year ago, the Girls creator and star came under fire in November after releasing a public statement in defense of Girls writer and producer Murray Miller, who was accused by 23-year-old actress Aurora Perrineau of rape. After taking a virtual beat down, the actress released a statement of apology and took a social media hiatus before finally resurfacing in allegiance to the "Time's Up" initiative started by over 300 Hollywood actress to support everyday women fighting sexual harassment and assault in the workplace.

Just when we thought that she might be on a personal mission to live her most unproblematic life in 2018, actress Tessa Thompson swooped in with a quick "no ma'am."

When Thompson posted an identical photo on her Instagram page, commenters were quick to call out Dunham's presence. One follower wrote, “Why is Lena Dunham there? She’s part of the problem. No thank you to Time’s Up.” In a since-deleted post, Thompson responded to the commenter.

She wrote, “Lena was not anywhere present in our group during the countless hours of work for the last two months. We hosted an open house for actresses for red carpet messaging and Lena presence was a surprise to us all. "This is a time of reckoning. And for many, a re-education. So many women also have real work to do. I’m afraid it’s too nuanced a conversation to have on this platform. But I hear you, and know that your thoughts and words are not lost on me. It’s been discussed.”

Oop!

And once again…

Welp! We can't say we're surprised. I mean…

Lena. Ma'am. Who invited you?
