As we already know, CBS has set Arsenio Hall's return to late night TV, for September 92013, via CBS TV Distribution.

We can now add that the show will air during the 10pm to 11pm nightly time-slot (he's obviously not going to be competing with current late-night hosts; David Letterman is CBS' late night talk show king right now), in addition to the fact that it's now sold in 95% of the country.

So, Scandal fans, you know what this means, right? On Thursday nights, at 10pm, you just might have a challenger on your hands, obviously depending on how popular Arsenio's return is. But I guess you could DVR one to watch later, while watching the other one live, when it broadcasts.

Oh, and of course it'll be called The Arsenio Hall Show.

Details via press release from CBS Television Distribution below…

LOS ANGELES – January 22, 2013 – CBS Television Distribution has sold THE ARSENIO HALL SHOW in 95% of the country, it was announced today by Joe DiSalvo, President of Sales at CTD.

The new late-night syndicated talk show will debut on September 9, 2013, anchored by the Tribune Broadcasting station group, which has stations in 7 of the top 10 markets.

In addition to the Tribune Broadcasting, stations from CBS Television, Local TV, Sinclair Broadcasting, LIN Television Stations, Belo Corp., Cox Enterprises, Media General, Post-Newsweek Stations, Newport Television, Raycom Media, The Grant Group and Sunbeam Television have also picked up the show.

THE ARSENIO HALL SHOW will air mostly in 10 p.m. and 11 p.m. time slots across the country.

Hall, who recently won the latest edition of NBC's "Celebrity Apprentice," is best known for hosting the Emmy Award-winning "The Arsenio Hall Show," a late-night syndicated talk show produced by Paramount Domestic Television (now CTD), which ran from 1989 to 1994. The show's place in pop culture history was cemented in June 1992 when then-presidential candidate Bill Clinton appeared on the show and played "Heartbreak Hotel" on the saxophone.

THE ARSENIO HALL SHOW is produced by CBS Television Distribution, in association with Arsenio Hall Communications Ltd. and Octagon Entertainment Productions. Arsenio Hall is executive producer. John Ferriter is executive producer.
