I'm probably in the minority when I say I have so little interest in seeing this. I've seen enough of these broadly-categorized "white teenager in mythical worlds adventure" flicks; I saw the last 2 Harry Potter movies, and I've had my fill for awhile.

And before anyone jumps on me, no, I'm not implying that Harry Potter = The Hunger Games. But I'd put both of them under the 

"white teenager

 in mythical worlds

adventure" flicks category; or "teenagers 

in mythical worlds 

adventure flicks starring white young men and/or women," sometimes even if the characters weren't originally written as Caucasian.

Will I see The Hunger Games when it's out? Likely, though it'll probably be at a press screening, meaning I won't have to pay to see it 🙂

But don't let me ruin your anticipation for it.

Lenny Kravitz,  Dayo Okeniyi and Amandla Stenberg all have roles in this; in the trailer below – released this morning – you'll get quick glances at Kravitz as " Cinna  ," and Amandla as "Rue."

The Hunger Games will be in theaters March 23, 2012.
