A white man caught on video berating Spanish speakers at a restaurant in a racist rant has been identified. The internet rallied and helped identify Aaron Schlossberg, a New York lawyer, who was captured threatening to call Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) on Spanish-speaking employees at a restaurant in New York City. This was not Schlossberg's first time aggressively spewing hate-filled rants at strangers.

The video featuring Schlossberg confronting strangers with racist remarks went viral since it was published to Facebook on Tuesday, May 15. Schlossberg can be heard complaining that people are speaking Spanish. He then threatened to call ICE, making ignorant statements that he pays for "their welfare."

“My guess is they’re not documented, so my next call is to ICE to have each one of them kicked out of my country,” he said. “They have the balls to come here and live off of my money? I pay for their welfare; I pay for their ability to be here. The least they could do, the least they could do is speak English.”

Schlossberg is an attorney with his own private practice. According to The New York Post, he had been using a business center in Midtown Manhattan but was kicked out after his racist rant went viral. Additionally, Congressman Adriano Espaillat and Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. filed a complaint against Schlossberg after the viral video calling for the New York State Unified Court System’s Departmental Disciplinary Committee to investigate the lawyer, The Post reported.

More information about Schlossberg's troubling past has been uncovered.

Journalist Isaac Saul, lead editor at A Plus, captured Schlossberg on video angrily and aggressively yelling at people in support of Muslim and Palestinian activist Linda Sarsour last year. Another man named Willie Morris shared his encounter with Schlossberg who he captured on video telling Morris he would call the police on him because he's an "ugly "f***ing foreigner."

Although Schlossberg appears to have a history of confronting people, another video published on Twitter shows him literally running away from a reporter from NBC on Thursday, May 17.

It’s important to identify and call out people behind racist attacks.
