Fans are angry that The Masked Singer audience voted out Jennifer Holliday, despite her performances being some of the best of the season.
According to Meaww, Holliday, who performed as Miss Teddy, was eliminated by the audience during the Group B’s semi-finals. The big winner of the night was the Ringmaster, who moved on to the finale with Firefly. But many viewers were wondering how Holliday could have not moved on as well.
"I am happy I don't watch #TheMaskedSinger," wrote one commenter. "[T]hey are always kicking out the best singers. How is #JenniferHoliday [sic] kicked out? [W]ho votes, the judges or the public?"

As the fans have written, the show has sent several legends home, including Khan and Patti LaBelle, despite their iconic voices shining beyond the outlandish character costumes.
In fairness, Faith Evans made it to the finale of her season, but like with a lot of singing competition shows, The Masked Singer seems to follow in the tradition of unfairly sending home much of its top talent.
