Tuesday night’s episode of The Voice proved to be one for the books with the elimination of the truly talented Gymani. It was filled with high emotions and an unexpected fall from one of the frontrunners, Wendy Moten.
Moten performed “I Can’t Help Myself” with her coach Blake Shelton and teammates when she took a nose dive as she exited the stage with her team.
Host Carson Daly explained to the cameras what had just occurred. “Unfortunate moment for Wendy Moten, who is walking off and we hope she’s OK,” Daly explained as Shelton and teammates assisted her.
After a commercial break, Moten appeared by Daly’s side assuring viewers she was okay.
“I’m OK, I’m a little bruised, but you know what? I’m still ready to go!” she stated.
