It's the end of the year and prom season is in full effect. Over the next few weeks, you can expect to see the good, the bad and the ugly that prom season delivers. For some, prom season can be wonderful. For others, it can be the biggest source of stress and bad memories. Fortunately, this grandfather was able to turn her granddaughter's worries into a celebration this prom season.

Kaylah Bell is a senior at Lancaster High School getting ready to graduate this spring. However, things got a bit tricky when she was unsure of who her date would be to the senior prom. Bell told Yahoo! Lifestyle, "I was talking to some people, but they all flaked out. It was really hard to find someone to commit to being my prom date." Luckily, she wasn't worried. Her grandfather came to the rescue.

Dressed in a fresh, navy blue, pinstripe suit, Bell's grandfather was her stand-in prom date for the special evening. Matching his pinstripe suit with an elegant pink and blue dress, Bell and her grandfather won prom easily.

According to Bell, her grandfather was the obvious choice to be her prom date. Bell told Yahoo Lifestyle, "My grandpa is very stylish." She added, "Every Sunday when we go to church, him and my grandma dress alike and dress together for church and banquets.”

On Sunday, Bell posted pictures of her and her grandfather, Alvin Hackett, on Twitter with the caption, "My papa knew I didn’t have a date to my prom so he matched me!" Effortlessly stylish, the two earned over 107,000 likes and over 12,000 retweets on Twitter.

The comments on Twitter were equally supportive. One person replied, "We should all aspire to be this suave." While another person replied, "this dress is gorgeous." Bell put it best when she told Yahoo Lifestyle, "My grandpa was the only one that I knew would dress to impress."

Bell will graduate this spring as part of Lancaster High School's Class of 2019. In the fall, she will attend Azusa Pacific University in California.
