It seems the colonizers are a bit confused. Once again, they prove that we learn everything about them as they seemingly know nothing about us.

People on social media are collectively scratching their heads after a student, known as DZastr22 on YouTube and AlexeyShved1 on Reddit, posted a video of his international marketing class presentation on Wakanda's economy and power struggle. Never hearing of Marvel's Black Panther, his professor thought that the fictional country was an actual place.

The nearly 11-minute clip is filled with an incredibly detailed synopsis of the country's origins, leaders and resources. Don't get us wrong; we realize how cool Wakanda is and its celebration of African culture. Many people are still on a Wakandan high (minus Chadwick Boseman), but you have to be living under a rock not to have heard about the record-breaking movie.

According to the Indian Express,  the professor is the type to watch tennis that doesn't include Serena Williams for fun.

“She’s also the type of person who only watches tennis on TV, so she had no clue what Black Panther was until we told her about the movie shortly [afterward],” he wrote in reply to a comment.

If you're wondering how he even got to the point of creating this master plan, the student said he couldn't resist when he realized she had never heard of the vibranium filled nation.

“I mentioned Wakanda the day before jokingly, and she questioned it, so I offered to do a presentation about the country and their power struggle. She was incredibly excited to learn about a country she had never heard of, so I gave this.”

In the end, there were no hard feelings. The teacher laughed it off after learning the whole class was in on the joke.

“She asked me about it later, and I just told her that the entire class was in on the joke and she thought it was funny," he said.

As much as we wish Wakanda existed, we'd think an international marketing professor would be better versed in real African nations.
