Brokely Carmichael and a number of other Twitter users reacted to Cecil the Lion’s death in a unique and parodic way. Although we were all disappointed at the recent death of the Zimbabwean lion, some think the reaction of the internet has been bizarre because the lion’s death is being treated like the death of a human.
Imagine if all the celebrities willing to tweet about #CecilTheLion were willing to do the same for black humans killed by cops.
