A seemingly innocent video of presidential candidate Kamala Harris waving has gone viral, as some critics and supporters are using the clip across Twitter.
Earlier this week, Harris and other presidential candidates visited the for-profit Homestead Detention Facility in Florida before preparing for debates. Though none of the presidential hopefuls were allowed inside, officials within the facility have said the conditions are “harsh.”
While Harris pledged to shut down facilities like Homestead, if elected, many are skeptical of the California senator and created some fiery memes, targeting her policy proposals, specifically her questionable student loan forgiveness plan:

While a few clever folk poked fun at her Democratic candidate competitors like former Vice President Joe Biden, others envisioned an optimistic future within the wave.

But you know what the video also reminded some of? Our grandmas' shady behavior, obviously.

And who hasn't had to flag down their ride-share driver or given unsure directions to a complete stranger? It happens to the best of us.

Harris continues to raise the stakes on her political campaign, as she looks to garner more support from voters. On Monday, she announced her Medicare-for-all plan, competing with Bernie Sanders' proposal of the same name. The second round of Democratic presidential primary debates takes place on Tuesday and Wednesday nights at Fox Theatre in Detroit.
