Not quite like all those past *Dance* movies (Step Up, and its countless sequels, Street Dance, etc), but not so unlike them either. Combining dance and kids this time around, the new Brit comedy All Stars, will be released in the UK on May 3rd.
Here’s the film’s synopsis:
When the local after school youth club is threatened with closure, shy street dancer Jayden must team up with loudmouthed Ethan to not only organize the ultimate fundraiser but put together an unbeatable hip hop crew to save the day and win the girl.
Naturally… what else is there to live for?
Starring as our shy street dancer Jayden, is a youngster named Akai Osei (winner of Got To Dance 2009) – that’s him in the photo above.
He’s joined by Theo Stevenson, Ashley Jensen, Hugh Dennis, Ashley Walters and Kimberley Walsh, to name but a few.
All Stars will be released in 3D by the way, by Vertigo Films, who are also responsible for the Street Dance films.
