Produced by Kirk Goodall and directed by Hilton Ariel Ruiz, The Air is a new documentary now making the film festival curcuit rounds which chronicles the life of Gil C Alicea.
Raised in the South Bronx with parents who contratced the HIV/AIDS virus 16 years ago when he was 15, Gil struggles to deal with his situation and survive, inspired the book "The Air Down There" which in turn made Gil an overnight media sensation.
But after the hoopla, Gil seemningly disappeared from view leaving many people to wonder what ever happened to the impressionable young man.
