After a mug shot of Trick Daddy circulated the net, the Miami rapper asked the clowning to come to an end while simultaneously reminding everyone to think before typing. 

The rapper, whose real name is Maurice Young, made headlines earlier this month when he was arrested for cocaine possession and driving under the influence. Miami officers said Young failed a field sobriety test after he "appeared to be asleep behind the wheel,” the Miami Herald reported. The report also claims that officers found cocaine in a dollar bill when Young was searched at the police station. As the story broke, the Love and Hip Hop: Miami cast member’s mug shot began circulating, and Twitter called a family meeting.

A day after the arrest, Trick Daddy took to his Facebook page to address all of the haters that were out of line.

Young said “make fun of the fact that I have Lupus…and all this just for likes” in his post that has to date been shared almost 2k times.

“My feeling don’t hurt easily I’m too worried about waking up tomorrow,” Young's Facebook post continued. 

This isn’t the first time we’ve heard about the artist and his bouts with the debilitating autoimmune disease that also affects other celebrities like Toni Braxton and Nick Cannon. In 2015, Trick Daddy discussed his 2009 diagnosis and his aversion to taking medicine for the illness with the The Breakfast Club.

“When I smoke weed and coke, the worst thing that’s gonna happen to me is I’mma go to sleep or eat. If I take Lupus medicine, I gotta take a pill for this pill, a pill for that pill.”

Twitter commenters, who may or may not have been aware of his diagnosis, attacked the music artist's appearance. 

One seemed enlightened but still struggled to show empathy. 

Another did not. 

"I just found out that Trick Daddy suffers from Lupus, and now I feel bad for all the bad things I thought about his mugshot," the Twitter user wrote. "Another reminder from the universe that you never know what someone is going through, and it’s not our place to judge their struggle."

Hopefully, Trick Daddy remains unbothered while the rest of these folks get a heart.
