As we all know by now, Donald J. Trump (or whoever is behind his account) just can't pass up a chance to be the ultimate Twitter troll. He kicked off his Thanksgiving bright and early by responding to a tweet calling out his active pattern of attacking prominent black figures.

He responded by, not defending himself or even disputing those claims, but rather by tweeting his former campaign slogan "MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!"

According to The Washington Post,  the tweet that prompted the response from the president came from their writer Greg Sargent who had shared his opinion article about Trump’s latest Twitter rant related to LaVar Ball. Trump has obsessively called Ball out for not thanking him properly for his role in resolving a shoplifting charge in China against Ball’s son, LiAngelo.

“Trump’s rage-tweets about LaVar Ball are part of a pattern. He regularly attacks high-profile African Americans to feed his supporters’ belief that the system is rigged for minorities,” Sargent wrote on Twitter.

To not notice Trump's pattern would mean you aren't paying attention. His response, in turn, leaves many people questioning what his intentions were. Was that his way of confirming the sentiments proposed or a mistake (such as covfefe)? However, let the record reflect that Trump has continuously attacked people and issues linked to prominent black figures with fervor. His feud with LaVar Ball is only the tip of the iceberg. After building a campaign on the back of racism, his choice to tweet MAGA leaves a bad taste in all of our mouths.

Just in case you haven't fully found a reason to completely dump Trump, listen to Angela Rye break it down in a way that only she can. Honestly, we could listen to her deliver facts and put these people in their place all day.
