A new report from The Washington Post claims that President Donald Trump will spend three times as much leisure time as President Barack Obama in his first year.
“I’m not going to have time to go play golf,” Trump once said while campaigning. “There’s just so much to be done,” he told “60 Minutes,” “so I don’t think we’ll be very big on vacations.”
But that has not been the case. By the end of August, the president will have spent 53 days in office at leisure. In comparison, Obama only spent 15 days through August 2009. Additionally, Trump will have played an estimated 33 rounds of golf compared to Obama’s 17 rounds.
Many of his trips to Mar-a-Lago have been costly too. After Trump announced a ban that will prevent transgender Americans from serving in the military, there have been reports disputing the president's claim that transgender service people are running up military medical costs.

….victory and cannot be burdened with the tremendous medical costs and disruption that transgender in the military would entail. Thank you

According to GQ, the average cost for medical services for transgender people is $2.4 and $8.4 million a year. A trip to Mar-a-Lago is about $2 million, per a report from The Washington Post. The Center for American Progress think tank calculated his 11 total trips to Mar-a-Lago and Bedminster golf course since taking office at about $29 million.
This is just one more way Trump proves he isn't Obama.
