All it takes is three simple words to get you dragged these days on Twitter. All Lives Matter.
Exhibit A.
All lives matter. So much going on in this world today. Can we all just get along! Colin,I respect your stance but don't disrespect the Flag.
— Jerry Rice (@JerryRice) August 30, 2016
Former San Francisco 49er Jerry Rice took to Twitter Monday night to send out a message aimed at causing world peace, but clearly did more harm than good. The retired wide receiver and NFL Hall of Fame honoree criticized 49ers Colin Kaepernick for his decision to protest the national anthem over his concerns about America’s treatment of black men.
Let’s take a trip back to 1989 when Rice inadvertently called the media racially biased in an interview with KRON-TV all because his MVP recognition didn’t receive as much coverage as a white player would.
“If it were Joe Montana, Dwight Clark, it would have been headlines all over,” Rice said.
Just a receipt I came across.
Twitter immediately threw a flag on this shucking and jiving.

Twitter clearly had to pull double duty. Before Rice joined the ALM crusade, former New York Giants running back Tiki Barber had a few words about Kaepernick as well on CBS This Morning.
"I don't commend him for sitting and not honoring this country and our flag." — @TikiBarber on @Kaepernick7 pic.twitter.com/8JeU9WKQZf

He also had this to say a few days ago.
Kaep is using his platform & brand to make a compelling & polarizing point, which is his right, even if it's met with ire!#idontagree

Clearly his opinions were unwelcomed on Twitter.
Who even asked Tiki Barber anyway?

I knew Tiki Barber wasn't on our side, long ago. Look at him. pic.twitter.com/PJoGOsrgmr

Knowing his history, Tiki Barber talking about "honor" is kinda like Ryan Lochte talking about "honesty".

Surprised @ Jerry Rice's stance, not Tiki Barber's. He fumbled his life away when left his pregnant wife. Tiki, go sit at the kids table fam
