One of the biggest cult classics in black entertainment could be getting a sequel, if a post from one if its co-stars proves to be true.

Tyrese posted on Instagram that a sequel to Baby Boy was "coming soon," and even hinted that John Singelton would be returning to helm it.

The IG post features a clip of couple Jody (Tyrese) and Yvette (Taraji P. Henson) arguing in a scene from the movie.

Baby Boy, which debuted in 2011, is a coming-of-age film, depicting bicycle mechanic Jody Summers navigating Los Angeles life.

This marked the feature film debut for Taraji P. Henson, as well as Tyrese, who replaced Tupac in the film after his untimely death.
