Venus Williams will be starring and executive producing in a new show tentatively titled Deals in Heels, Deadline reports.

Executive produced in partnership with 3 Ball Entertainment’s Todd A. Nelson, Ross Weintraub and DJ Nurre, each episode of Deals in Heels will feature five aspiring women entrepreneurs pitching their business proposals to a panel.

In each installment of the competition, two women will be chosen to move on the the contest's second round, an "executive suite" where a panel of established business people will give a nuanced critique of each business.

Both of the two finalists will be given one month of mentoring by the corporate panelists, who will work with the women to strengthen all aspects of their businesses. At month's end, the women will re-pitch the panel, who will look at sales figures, negotiation skills and other metrics to decide the winner.

The winner, of course, receives an investment in their company.

“As an advocate for gender and pay equality, I’m thrilled to be working with 3 Ball Entertainment on this project that fosters and supports trailblazing women who are actively pursuing their professional aspirations,” said the tennis star. CEO and author, Staness Jonekos, and Silicon Valley based CEO, Deborah Perry Piscone will also be apart of the influential series.

Though there’s no word on when the series is set to debut, 3 Ball Entertainment is “confident these women can deliver both a powerful perspective and tangible results, helping to empower and inspire a new wave of entrepreneurs.”
