In a news segment with Houston’s KHOU 11, playwright David E. Talbert revealed that he plans to take his current road stage-play, What My Husband Doesn’t Know, to theaters. And as we’ve seen with another playwright-turned-filmmaker, the film undoubtedly comes with a built-in fanbase that will all but guarantee butts in theater seats.
In its current form, the main characters in Talbert’s production are played by Morris Chestnut, Michelle Williams, Clifton Davis, and Ann Nesby. There’s no word yet as to whether they will reprise their roles for the theatrical version of What My Husband Doesn’t Know.
