I'm sure by now you've seen the video of a man running through the streets with his kangaroo on a leash. It was hard to tell where he was located exactly but once the video circulated, it became a known fact that he was in Detroit. A kangaroo. On a leash. In the streets of Detroit?? You have to see it to believe it.

So. many. questions.

Many were confused as to how he got the leash on the kangaroo knowing the strength of their kick-punch combo that will send you flying to the moon. Others instantly assumed the man in the video was a crackhead because as history shows, they're capable of achieving pretty much anything if they're determined enough. Nevertheless, the story turns out to be much more interesting than we could ever imagine.

The man in the video actually turns out to be a legit businessman. Javon Stacks and "The Exotic Zoo" take pleasure in transforming any school assembly, event or birthday party into a "zoo" for the day for groups that may not have the expenses to travel or book a trip to the zoo. Instead of worrying about losing children or tired feet, they bring the zoo to you! So the video that we saw a snippet of was actually taken during a kid's birthday party.

"Inner city kids' parents don't have enough money to go to the zoo or transportation to go to the zoo," Stacks shared with MLive.com. "There's not enough room in someone's home to bring a kangaroo, so we stepped outside." Many people were concerned about the safety of these wild animals but Stacks reassured them that he has the same required state and federal licenses as other zoo's to work with animals.

Stacks went on to say that the Exotic Zoo makes an effort to educate kids about mammals, reptiles, predators, prey, the food chain and more. It's a way for students to learn about animals they may not necessarily see on the regular outside of their school books and on television.

Oh, by the way, Javon Stacks and his kangaroo pal stopped by Detroit's Hot 107.5 to kick it and chat with their morning crew. His name is Darwin, he's from the west side and he loves bananas. Adorable!
