Here’s the latest in a string of deals that The Black List screenplay database has made with Hollywood to find new and diverse writing talent.

The Walt Disney Studios Feature Writers Program is a paid one year residency housed in Disney’s live-action production group that provides up-and-coming feature writers with development and mentorship opportunities.

Starting today, writers with screenplays hosted on the Black List site can opt into consideration for the program, which seeks to identify writers with diverse perspectives who have not made more than $250K for their screenwriting.

This is the second studio partnership for The Black List after a $90,000 feature program was announced at Warner Bros. last summer. The site has also set up similar partnerships with TBS/TNT, independent producer Cassian Elwes and the Sundance Institute to provide opportunities for new screenwriters.
