It's obvious that Mike Tyson has gone through a major image change. Once one of the most dangerous and feared men of them all, he's now seen more as comic relief.
Remember we're talking about a guy who regularly decimated his opponents in the boxing ring, served three years in prison for sexual assault, made, lost (and cheated out of) hundreds of millions, has been married three times, and damn near bit a guy's ear off. And that's just for starters.
Now he's appearing in movies, doing comedy skits and soon will be on Broadway in a one man show to be directed by none other than Spike Lee. Sort of makes you forget the OLD tyson.
Now here come these new TV commercials for a Polish energy drink that he made recently in Poland, and which you can take a look at below.
The first commercial though is rather disturbing with Tyson surrounded by a bevy of white woman while singing: "They call me a beast. Can't control my fists…"
Really? O.K. I understand Tyson wanting to show a different side of himself after his controversial past life, but is this the way to do it? I mean, I'm not exactly feeling a black man joking about what a violent, uncontrollable animal he is.
What do you say?
