Before we start anything here, I want you to pull up a chair and get comfortable because we need a minute for the “meme gawds” to enlighten us.
Okay, we’re back. Last month a man broke into a Five Guys burger spot in Washington D.C. According to Reuters, he made his way in after following a delivery person in. After the coast was clear and he was alone, the “Hungry Burglar” made himself at home. Instead of hitting the register to try to get some cash, he headed to the grill. In the surveillance video footage, he is seen preparing his two cheeseburgers, talking on the phone, sippin’ on a drink and even took some extra time to toast his buns. Clearly “Hungry Burglar” is no rookie to this burger life. Police are still looking for this burger connoisseur and released the footage in hopes that it will help them in their search.
Now, we all know doing time of “crisis” such as these we can always turn to social media for commentary.
While most people laughed at the fedora-wearing thief:
@ABC7 but no fries? Disgraceful.

Others took the humanitarian approach:
Give this man a job on the grill, not a judicial sanction https://t.co/BWtEldQP6d

So what are your thoughts? Should the hamburglar be grilled by police or should this just be looked at as a cheesy and not worth the authorities time?
