Ben Stiller leads an ensemble cast that includes Eddie Murphy, Gabourey Sidibe, Casey Affleck, Matthew Broderick, Alan Alda and others, in the Brett Ratner-directed Tower Heist, the action-drama produced by uber-producer Brian Grazer for Universal Pictures.

In the film, a group of vengeful maintenance workers, led by their manager (played by Stiller) for a luxury high-rise apartment building, use their knowledge of the building to rip off a Bernie Madoff-like Wall Streeter guilty of depleting their pension funds, who is under house-arrest in a lavish suite in the same building the work.

So really this marks the big screen return of Eddie Murphy, and Gabourey Sidibe’s first big screen role since Precious, right? Unless Victoria Mahoney’s Yelling To The Sky beats this to a theatrical general release, and I don’t expect it to.

It opens this Friday, November 4th. My schedule has been so full lately that I missed press screenings for it; otherwise, I’d likely have reviewed it by now. Maybe Sergio’s seen it…
