What’s really going on with Wendy Williams has yet to be revealed as the media maven hasn’t publicly commented via interview or video about her alleged health crisis. Rumors continue to spread that she may not return to the purple chair.

But now, her son is allegedly speaking on her behalf.

Williams’ 21-year-old son Kevin Jr. reposted an Instagram post that many believe is directed toward his mother.

The post said “When the hate don’t work they start telling lies.” The line is a lyric from the Fabolous and French Montana song, “Ball Drop.” The social media repost comes at a time when rumors about his mother’s health being in decline run rampant, as well as reports of her behaving erratically.

This comes as new reports about Williams have surfaced

Recently, multiple media outlets reported that in 2020, Williams’ manager and associates came to her home to check on her and discovered her intoxicated. She allegedly displayed erratic behavior 911 was reportedly called about the incident.

There’s also been rumors about the mother and son duo being at odds over Williams’ behavior. Kevin Jr. is said to have given his mother an ultimatum to sober up or he will discontinue communication.

The college student shared an Instagram post of his mother recently visiting him in Miami. Williams is reportedly living there in a treatment and wellness facility as her daytime talk show has guest co-hosts in her absence.

New reports and claims about the talk show host’s health continue emerge

According to sources who spoke with The Sun, Williams’ health is deteriorating and it’s scary to witness. “The spark is gone. That Wendy, who for ten years had that spark in her eyes, that cheeky grin and that little wink is not the same now.”

The source says that some days for Williams are worse than others.

“She’s not always functioning like she used to be. She has days where she needs help eating, getting out of bed and getting dressed,” they added. “Sometimes she goes out in a robe and without shoes on– the old Wendy would never have allowed herself to be seen out like that.”

Another alleged source also claims Williams is not ready to return to the show, noting, “She really can’t do a video. She’s been having a hard time holding a conversation.”

Aside from this message put out by Kevin Jr., Williams' brother also denied these claims about his sister's health.

He exclusively told The Sun that Williams has not been “displaying that type of behavior to the family” after rumors that his sister was displaying early signs of dementia. “We haven’t had any alerts like that and I haven’t seen anything like that or have had conversations with her that would lead me to believe that. We routinely go up and check on Wendy even though we’re all down here in Florida. I try to make it up there and my dad speaks with Wendy frequently. So no, we don’t have any concerns concerning her mental state. It’s all physical.”
