This weekend all of America (minus Donald Trump) were either present or watching the White House Correspondents Dinner. As the last White House Correspondents Dinner for President Obama, it was no shock that it would be a historical one. President Obama threw shade almost as good as Prince himself, leaving the room laughing hysterically. As President Obama dropped the Mic and ended his last WHCD the right way, it was what happened after the dinner that has folks still clutching their pearls.

At the MSNBC afterparty Ryan Grimm, the  Huffington Post’s Washington Bureau Chief and  Jesse B. Watters, a Fox News Correspondent, went to blows. Grimm had a beef with Watters dating back to 2009 when Watters who is also known as the “ambush journalist”, ambushed Amanda Terkel. Amanda Terkel who now works for the Huffington Post, recalled the incident and described Watters following, harassing, and ambushing her. To give Watters a taste of his own medicine, Grimm decided to start filming Watters, which caused Watters to become annoyed and snatched the phone out of Grimm’s hand. In an attempt to get his phone back Grimm reached into Watters pocket and from there an all out brawl ensued. Tables were turned over and several folks knocked over.

When news hit social media about the brawl a few folks had lots of things to say about the nerd brawl.

It still has been determined who won the fight but hopefully these guys can learn to work their differences out, because white on white crime is really not the answer.
