The View co-host and Black icon Whoopi Goldberg had most of us laughing thanks to her priceless response to a lengthy statement from fellow host Meghan McCain.

The panel was discussing the interview between Oprah Winfrey, Meghan Markle and her husband Prince Harry. The conversation shifted to British commentator Piers Morgan, who devoted time on morning television in the U.K. to bash Markle.

One of Morgan's co-hosts finally stepped up and called out the British anchor for his openly bigoted, misogynistic tirades, prompting him to walk off set and eventually quit the show entirely.

As The View hosts discussed both topics, McCain gave a long-winded answer saying she was a "red-blooded, 100 percent American who celebrate freedom anyway I can" and added that monarchies "are stupid, the American experiment is the way to go."

She compared herself to Markle, telling the audience that she has also had to deal will unfavorable press coverage and news outlets covering her life closely. The host went on to say how happy she was that two Americans, Winfrey and Markle, were doing so much damage to the British monarchy.

"If we have two American women — Meghan Markle and Oprah Winfrey — who are single-handedly finishing what George Washington and our Revolutionary counterparts did, I'm all for it," McCain told the panel.

The camera then panned to Goldberg, who responded with an "Okay" that resembled how many felt about McCain's lengthy comment.

Many people had fun responses to Goldberg's brief response.

McCain, angry about the jokes at her expense, later took to Twitter, where she wrote, "I am extremely patriotic. I love the founding fathers. I don't know why this is shocking or confusing for anyone [who]  has met me for even five seconds."
