The 21Ninety Awards honor the people shaping beauty and lifestyle culture from the inside out. This year, we're thinking small but meaningful — shifting from broad product categories to more focused, industry-specific ones that spotlight the creators, innovators, and visionaries behind the magic. It's a celebration of the hands, hearts, and creativity redefining what beauty means for Black women and people of color.
SELECTION PROCESS
The 2025 21Ninety Award winners were chosen by a team of writers and editors, who bring both expertise and cultural perspective to the selection process. Each honoree was evaluated on five key pillars: impact, representation, innovation or consistency, visibility or virality, and alignment with 21Ninety's mission to empower Black women through beauty, wellness, and lifestyle. The result is a list that celebrates those creating space, shaping culture, and setting the standard across the industries we love.
