The founder of the online platform WorldStarHipHop, Lee O'Denat, known as "Q," has been found dead.

Denat reportedly died in his sleep. He was 43 years old.

He began WorldStarHipHop in 2005 as a mixtape-hosting site, becoming one of the earliest forces in urban online content.

Despite controversy concerning its content, over the years, WorldStar grew into a full-fledged brand and aggregate video blog site. It also provided an outlet for many artists to premiere their music videos. Undoubtedly, WorldStar changed the way we receive and consume content.

Prior to his death, Q was planning to premiere World Star TV, a weekly sketch series on MTV 2, set to begin airing next month.
