No one can hold 10-year-old Kheris Rogers down. After being bullied for having dark skin, the young designer and her sister, Taylor Pollard, launched a clothing line to celebrate her beauty and clap back against the haters.
The empowering t-shirt line “Flexin’ In My Complexion“ was started earlier this year when Kheris' story went viral. In a March 26 tweet, Pollard tweeted a few photos to show the world that the people picking on Kheris were wrong.

Months after, Kheris has been featured in a new photo series called "Queen of Pearls" by Atlanta-based husband and wife photography studio Creative Soul Photography. Here are some of the photos from that elegant shoot:
