A few months ago, wave and durag enthusiasts held a #DuragFest in North Carolina to show everyone just how serious the wavy lifestyle is. 

In true wavy form, Twitter user @2xfly held a digital durag fest Thursday by showcasing a video of Black students at an HBCU holding a ceremony to unveil the freshest and crispest waves you've ever seen:

 

The event included live commentary on each student's impeccable waves. Move over, NBA draft! Plus, we're always here for Black brotherhood. The love shown was real. 

As the video made the rounds, everyone was riding the wave of Black joy, even Missy Elliott!
