They work your nerves like no other, but you couldn't imagine life without them standing to your left and right. Life would be pretty boring and you'd probably have a criminal record. Best friends are reserved for keeping your head on straight and bringing out your best petty. Here are 10 types of best friends you can't live without.
1. The Married With Children Best Friend

This friend can never hang out for long because they have to get home to their family. You've babysat for them a bunch of times and you typically don't mind because you love their kids. They seem to have it all. A great career, a spouse that loves them, beautiful children and a huge house. But you know the grass isn't always greener because they call you with their family issues way too often. You're there for them whenever they need you because you remember how you used to turn up together back in the day!
2. The Single Best Friend

This friend is always on the prowl for a mate. They've been single for years but they won't give up. You've tried hooking them up with some of your other friends but it usually falls through some way or another. This friend needs your guidance though. They hold on a little too tight sometimes and you have to keep it real more often than not. But at the core of everything, you just want them to be happy. It'll take a special someone to lock them down.

This friend makes you laugh the hardest out of all your friends with they're outrageous antics. When it is time to do something crazy and outrageous, you know who to call. They will always indulge you in your crazy schemes. This friend never tells you no. You can do no wrong in their eyes. If you were to ever rob a bank, you'd do it with this friend. They're dependable, discrete and savvy. They anticipate your needs and have what you're looking for before you even ask. You keep them close because you know the value of a ride or die.
5. The Holier–Than–Thou Best Friend

This friend keeps you rolling your eyes. They're always inviting you to their eight-hour long church service but you can't ever seem to commit to going. They have a scripture for every situation and never fail to remind you of your sin. You've had a couple of spiritual debates with this friend and you're constantly learning from them. Although they can be kind of judgy, you love them because their disciplined, intelligent and know where the best brunch spots are. Your parents want you to be more like them, but you just can't seem to put the Henny down.

They show up to any, and I mean any, occasion with the liquor. They know how to mix every drink in the book. They can always find a reason to drink. You call them when you need a good turn up! It seems like they won't brush their teeth if you don't tell them what type of toothpaste to use. They call you every day before work, on your lunch break and after work. And you better not miss their call because then you'd have to explain yourself. They get jealous of your other friends too. Sometimes you wonder if this friend confuses you for their spouse.
