It’s official! “106 & PARK” bids farewell today, Friday, December 19, 2014 at 6 pm/ET.
The live, two-hour finale will take a look back at the long history of “106 & PARK,” along with a few of 106’s most notable guests, showcasing the best in entertainment from Hollywood’s A-list, music’s top recording artists, to First Lady Michelle Obama and President Barack Obama.
Throughout the week, viewers who’ve been tuning in have watched former hosts return to the show, and celebrities, including Nicki Minaj, Ludacris, Ne-Yo, Common, Big Sean, Ashanti, Fabolous, and Ja Rule, wish 106 farewell!
On Friday’s farewell celebration, “106 Final Act,” past “106 & PARK” hosts, including original hosts AJ and Free (2000 – 2005), Big Tigger and Julissa (2005 – 2006), Terrence J. and Rocsi (2006 – 2012), and The Search hosts (Miss Mykie, Paigion and Shorty da Prince – 2012 to 2013), join current hosts Shad Moss (formerly Bow Wow) and Keshia Chanté (2013 – 2014) for the final airing of “106 & PARK,” which will feature performances from Fabolous and Ne-Yo.
The hosts will also recap the Hollywood stars that appeared throughout the years, Freestyle Friday, the show’s popular Freestyle rap battle, and reintroduce some of the artists that got their big break from appearing on the show.
Also, expect celebrity guest appearances and surprise performances from some of your favorites. Watch live as our generations biggest entertainers return to show to say goodbye for what is sure to be an emotional farewell.
