A 12-year-old boy went viral on TikTok after singing a heartfelt ballad at his parents’ wedding ceremony last month.

Videographer Danielle Tufano shared the three-minute clip on her TikTok account on April 12, with many blown away by Aiden Armstrong’s unforgettable vocals, Good Morning America reported.

“Proof that his parents are raising a sensitive and strong young man! Well done mom & dad! He’s so incredible 🥰,” one TikToker said.

“What an amazing core memory!! To have your child sing at your vow renewal!!” another said.

The video garnered more than 5.6 million views, with singer Calum Scott congratulating him after Aiden chose to sing his song “You Are the Reason.”

“THIS IS JUST BEAUTIFUL!! True emotion. You killed it buddy! 🤍,” the recording artist said.

Aiden said it was initially his mother’s idea for him to sing at the vow renewal ceremony. The 12-year-old knew he wanted to perform Scott’s ballad as his song of choice.

“I chose the song because I find it really sentimental and it was very sweet,” Aiden told the outlet. “I love my parents so that’s why I decided to choose that song to sing at the wedding.”

During the opening of his solo, the preteen was overwhelmed with emotion as he serenaded his parents with a song that perfectly described their union. Aiden then wiped away tears and delivered a powerful performance for the married couple.

“I was very nervous being in front of that many people,” he recalled. “But I was very excited and happy at the same time to be there at the wedding, to sing for my parents.”

Aiden’s mom, Kemorene Mills-Armstrong, admitted she was also emotional at the beginning of his performance.

“When he started, I was very emotional,” the proud mom of three told GMA. “From the beginning, it was very emotional, and then you heard all the guests in the background. They were crying so I got even more teary-eyed, so I had to be looking up because all of the tears would be flooding down. So it was a very special moment.”

Kemorene and her husband, Kirkland Armstrong, had a beautiful ceremony on March 23 in Port St. Lucie with their family, friends and children in attendance.

Though Aiden was visibly emotional during the ceremony, the preteen said he was able to focus on singing the song for his parents.

“I got very emotional in the start, and then after, I just completely forgot about all the emotions and stuff and I just let it out,” he said.

Aiden also revealed he wants to continue singing and takes lessons to pursue a singing career one day.
