A 14-year-old boy was pulled aside by a movie theater manager and handcuffed because his pants sagged.

Alonzo Taylor Jr. was arrested because he forgot his belt. The teen went to a local movie theater in Wichita, Kansas, with friends to see Avengers: Infinity War when he was stopped and harassed by a manager for not having his belt.

"A couple of seconds after leaving the concessions counter, the manager walked up and said to pull up your pants or you'll be escorted," Alonzo said.

One of his friend's parents, Kali Kerr, wrote in a Facebook post that Alonzo was carrying a soda and popcorn and was unable to pull his pants up.

"I was by the counter and he said that, 'You're going to have to leave. I don't care what you did. You're trespassing.'"

The manager commanded he pull up his pants but when Alonzo put down the snacks to do so the manager called a police officer and had him arrested anyway. An officer from the Wichita Police Department intervened and roughed up the young man.

Officer Thomas, Kerr identified, arrested Alonzo, threw away his snacks and told his mother if she did not set up the court date, there may be possible jail time for her.

"I just don't want my son's record to be messed up over sagging and to be labeled as a trespasser," Ruth Dennis, Alonzo's mother, said.

Police are reviewing the surveillance footage of the incident, local news outlet KAKE reports. It's unclear whether Taylor will be charged with trespassing but, in the meantime, the family will not go to that local theater any longer.
